As one of our clients Process Engineers, youll be called upon to support every aspect of Extrusion and/or Thermoforming manufacturing, with primary responsibilities in the area of Extrusion, and a secondary focus on Thermoforming. In carrying out the course of your duties, you will develop process methods and controls that meet quality standards, and provide expert consultation in multiple areas for the design, development and implementation of technical products, processes and systems. Importantly, you will be counted on to develop breakthrough solutions to problems that adversely affect profitability or project implementation.
To qualify, you should hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, EE or ME (not industrial) and possess four or more years of applicable experience, or a plastics engineering skill mix. Your background should contain APET and OPS/MFPP manufacturing process/project engineering experience. Familiarity with PPS process and concepts, supervisory experience with contract personnel and technical associates, and solid written and verbal communications skills will be expected. Proven affinity for using a variety of concepts, practices and procedures within a particular engineering field, along with an ability to manage multiple projects and establish priorities are all key to success in this role. You should bring with you recognition as a technical leader and a key resource. AutoCAD experience is highly preferred, but not a deal breaker.
