Packers Associates needed to work at a Manufacturing facility in Canandaigua, NY to perform general labor functions in a plant that produces products plastic containers for consumer and food service clients. Packer Associates Inspect parts for defects and proper labeling registration. Pack completed parts according to customer or company specifications and perform rework as required for defectively labeled or packed parts (ensure proper box counts). Keep equipment clean and maintain work area. Assist in training new employees. Accurately complete all required paperwork. Use a cart to collect scrap and rejected sheets of parts from lines with the same plastic and transport to grinder room.
Manage all aspects of product packaging for the assigned work cell. Inspect finished products to ensure that they meet the quality and packaging standards.
JOB REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Must be able to lift cases repetitively that vary in size and weight up to 50 pounds
Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
Able to take an active physical role, and work in a fast pace environment.
Must be at least 18 years of age
Ability to load, unload, sort cases and other related duties
Work requires the ability to comprehend written instructions
Requires performing basic math calculations and dealing effectively with other people.
Must wear safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, hair net and ear plugs.
Must be able to pass all required pre-employment screening such as background check, employment eligibility and drug test
WORKING SCHEDULE & PAY RANGE:
A: 11:30 pm to 8:00 am, $10.50 an hour
B: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, $10.00 an hour
C: 3:30 pm to 12:00 am, $10.50 an hour

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
