Assists in the nonprofessional and clerical aspects of managing and operating the outpatient functions of the department.
All medication-associated duties are performed under the direct supervision of licensed personnel (Registered Pharmacists).
Required Job Specific Competencies:
Demonstrates skill in daily communication including effectively gathering and disseminating information.
Demonstrates flexibility in decision-making and prioritizing assignments.
Demonstrates skill on proactively resolving problems, recommending, and implementing continuous quality improvements.
Demonstrates a working knowledge of the Information Systems (Pharmacy) and QS/1 (pharmacy outpatient system), as well as the ability to work proficiently in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Provides customer service and support in a manner consistent with the health system's goals and expectations Demonstrates and lives the CARES values at all times.
Qualifications:
Demonstrable proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Education:
High School education or equivalency required.
Associate Degree preferred.
Experience:
Two-three years of inventory management or Pharmacy experience.
Pay Range:
$16.
50 - $21.
