Responsibilities:
Prepares, coordinates and adjusts nursing, secretarial and other support staff schedules in the Family, Internal Medicine and Pediatrics practices to optimally staff each location.
Oversees support staff schedules across multiple, geographically dispersed practice locations.
Produces daily, weekly and monthly schedules as applicable.
Works with Practice Managers to optimally deploy staffing resources across the network.
Receives sick calls from staff and works to fill vacancies for the day with available staff.
Coordinates PTO approval with oversight of staff member's supervisor within established guidelines.
Enters and manages payroll ensuring completeness, accuracy and timeliness of reporting.
May approve timecards upon request from Practice Manager.
Enters physician call schedules into Qgenda as needed.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent accepted with appropriate experience required.
Associates Degree preferred.
Medical Office Assistant, CNA certification or LPN license preferred.
3-5 years exp.
with staffing & scheduling required or a combination of education & work exp.
sufficient to perform the job 3 years' experience in on outpatient office preferred.
Excellent customer service skills required Ability to handle multiple tasks quickly and efficiently required Proficiency in Microsoft Office, time keeping software and use of EMRs required Can use basic mathematical skills required Attention to detail and ability to identify issues with schedules and timekeeping required.
