Summary:
Screens WIC applicants for financial, categorical, and residential eligibility.
Inputs financial, categorical and residential data into statewide information system.
Assists nutritionist in certification and nutrition education contacts.
Performs anthropometric measurements and hematological screening as needed.
Does related work as required.
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Human Services or related field preferred Fluent in English and Spanish preferred Demonstration of excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
Understanding of cultural sensitivity and demonstration to work with diverse groups Skillsets with working in a fast paced clinic environment Open to working several evenings per month.
Fulfill expectations of advancing professional knowledge and skillsets by attending relevant seminars and/or trainings.
Exemplify a demonstrated commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion work and delivering services with a trauma-informed and equitable lens Valid NYS Driver License WORKING AT SPCC:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
