Summary:
Lynch Furniture is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team in our Canandaigua, NY office.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and will be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, and organized.
Essential Duties:
Answer phones and greet visitors greeting clients as they arrive at the office.
Greet visitors and answer inquiries about services and products.
Manage incoming mail and distribute to appropriate departments.
Maintain office supplies inventory including ordering, receiving, and ordering new supplies.
Maintain office equipment including computers, printers, filing systems, etc.
Prepare reports for management as requested.
Assist with maintaining the security of the office and the surrounding areas by following procedures and protocols.
Perform other duties as assigned by management or supervisor.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
Strong organizational skills are a must; ability to prioritize various tasks and meet deadlines is required.
Must be able to work independently with little supervision or as part of a team.
Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of management and employees.
Must be able to lift 30 pounds on a regular basis; good physical stamina is required for this position.
